Hi, I’m Saloni, a Designer at Cantina. My background lies in the intersection of psychology and computer science, which drives me to design solutions that are both firmly rooted in user insights and technically sound. Prior to Cantina, I taught Deep Learning fundamentals to high school students and worked on creating intuitive experiences for digital payment analytics at Mastercard. Before moving to the Boston area, I also worked on a service design solution with Just Harvest, addressing the problem of food insecurity in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh. My team and I delivered the concept for the SNAP Food Truck, a service that works within the food desert community to provide SNAP application assistance and easy access to fresh and healthy foods.
